1925

Born December 25 1925 In Oakdale Lousiana.

May 2004

Diagnosed With Metastatic Ovarian Cancer, Metastasized to the lung. Fought hard to beat this evil disease.

Sept 6 2005

Had Surgery to remove the ovary and Debulk the tumor, most of which was removed with the surgery, a remission looked promising!

September 24 2005

Fate stepped in, Hurricane Rita, hit our city with a direct hit. Mom along with all the patients in the hospital was evacuated to the northern part of the state. She stayed in a strange hospital for 4 weeks, before we could return home. All the while, she was not able to start the chemo treatments to get rid of the rest of the disease. By the time we returned Home, she was in a very weaked condition, by the end of december the Cancer spread like wildfire, A cure was NOT meant to be.

March 17 2006

Early morning on march 17 2006, mom went into a semi-coma, she could talk but had to strain to get words out. she let us know that her sisters came to take her home, along with the angels. Her last words to me were "I Love you", she took a deep breath and died at 8:50 PM. She is now free, at home and happy and whole. I love you momma!!!!
